The Ruapehu Writers Festival 2016 was a long weekend of readings, talks, panel discussions, workshops, a poetry slam, and some more unusual events such as a literary waterfall walk, a bike ride and a pony trek, based in Ōhakune. It ran from the evening of Thursday 17 March to the afternoon of Sunday 20 March, and it was fantastic.
Now it is over, but we are leaving this site up so we can reminisce about how much we enjoyed it, and how much we learned. And, you never know, we might have another one in the future…
I heard how good it was from someone at Going West. I am hoping you will do it again.
