Anna Jackson’s most recent poetry collection is I, Clodia, and Other Portraits (Auckland University Press, 2014). Two of her previous collections, Thicket (2011) and The Pastoral Kitchen (2002), were shortlisted for the New Zealand Book Awards. She is an Associate Professor at Victoria University of Wellington, where she is the programme director of English literature. She has written or edited several academic books, including books on New Zealand fiction, and is currently working on a book with Helen Rickerby and Angelina Sbroma on verse biography in Canada, Australia and New Zealand. She will be travelling to Menton, France, in 2016 as the Katherine Mansfield Fellow. She is one of the organisers of the Ruapehu Writers Festival.
