Ashleigh Young is a writer of poetry and essays. She works as an editor at Victoria University Press and co-teaches science writing with Dr Rebecca Priestley at the International Institute of Modern Letters. Her first book was Magnificent Moon (VUP, 2012) and recent work appears in Sport, Five Dials, The Griffith Review, The Spin-Off, Tell You What, and on her blog Her collection of essays is forthcoming.
